Event Breakdown

May 9 | United Racing Series Opener (Delaware Speedway)

  • Results: Feature: P9

  • Summary: We kicked off the year in the APC Series Dayco 100. Despite the car not being fully dialed in, we brought home a clean P9 for the team's first APC Series top-10 finish and used the track time as a baseline for weekly racing.

May 15 | Weekly Opening Night (Delaware Speedway)

  • Results: Heat: P3 | Feature: P7

  • Summary: With the main handling issues resolved from the week prior, Paul led the heat race early before taking 3rd. Started front-row (P2) for the feature, ran 3rd behind the leaders for 10+ laps, and held strong for P7 after getting moved out of the way and falling behind the line of cars in a tightly contested race.

June 5 | Rain-Shortened Night

  • Results: Practice: P7 | Heat: P4

  • Summary: Weather cut the program short, but practice yielded a new personal best lap time. The team fought through minor handling issues in the heat race to pull off a 4th-place run.

June 19 | 75-Lap Special

  • Results: Feature: P13

  • Summary: Showed improved speed early in practice, but fell behind on adjustments for the extra distance that left the car too loose in the feature, resulting in a P13 finish.

July 3 | Mid-Summer Thunderstorm

  • Results: Heat: P6 | Feature: Rainout (Stopped Lap 9)

  • Summary: Under-adjusted for a hot, slick track in the heat race. Made big setup swings for the feature that felt promising, but a sudden thunderstorm called the race just 9 laps in.

July 17 | Twin Feature Night

  • Results: Feature 1: P9 | Heat: P4 | Feature 2: P6 (Career Best)

  • Summary: A standout night for the team. After a P9 in Feature 1, Paul engaged in an intense 9-lap side-by-side battle for the lead in the heat race before a last lap slip-up resulted in a 4th place result. In Feature 2, Paul started P1, led his first-ever career feature laps, and locked in a career-best P6 finish.

Driver Lineup & Schedule Ahead

  • Substitutions: Ryan Dyson once again stepped into the seat for 2 races on May 22 and July 24 allowing the team to stay in the points hunt. Mechanical issues derailed a positive night on May 22, but a P7 on July 24 delivered a solid points night.

  • Summer Break: The team now enters a mid-summer break, with Paul returning behind the wheel on August 28thto start of 4 week string of racing to close out the season. With 3, possibly 4 weekly races (1 make up race) and a special event to end the year.
